Parker Academic Center is one building housing four different and special programs, each designed to provide the best education possible for its students.

Our Academy scholars come from the historic West Charlotte neighborhood around our beautiful school.

 

Our Horizons scholars come from across Mecklenburg County, are considered highly gifted, and go through an application process to enter the program.

​

Our Learning Immersion program (LI) scholars are in kindergarten through second grade. They seek accelerated classes to prepare for the Talent Development program.

 

Our Talent Development (TD) scholars are in third through fifth grade. They are identified as gifted and receive advanced classwork from a certified gifted teacher.

Much like our unique school, our PTA is also diverse. We are a group of parents, grandparents, teachers and staff members working together to provide the best education possible for our scholars. From our large events, like Fall Festival, to our smaller ones, like book fairs and classroom support, we help our teachers and students every day. We hope you'll join us!
